Acoustic Tin (Perforated Steel)

Acoustic tin is perforated steel that assists in noise reduction when installed with encapsulated fiberglass padding. When backed by the fiberglass pads the panels offer a noise reduction coefficient (NRC) of 0.8. Acoustic tin is an option available on select panels and can be combined with any of our custom antique plated or powder coated color finishes. Raw steel acoustic tin requires treatment with an oil based paint or, to finish the product in its natural state, a clear gloss polyurethane.
