Testimonials Sandy Pringle from Redondo Beach, CA states: "We contacted Matt [the owner of Classic Ceilings] at Classic Ceilings while remodeling our 1893 Queen Anne Victorian. We met at his store and he subsequently came to our home with samples and helped to design a very beautiful period kitchen ceiling. Classic Ceilings has an impressive array of ceiing and accent materials. Matt assisted in the selection of the installation Contractor and we are extremely happy with the entire interaction. He was a gentlemen at all times and provided what he said he would in a timely manner. I highly recommend this operation." ***** James Lanthripe from Anaheim, CA states: "When I was converting my basement into a “Pub” themed room, I wanted something to make the bar stand out. I had already used copper piping for the conduit to the light fixtures so I was looking for copper ceiling panels to match. I came across Classic Ceilings on the internet and saw that they had the best prices when compared to other internet sites. I also saw that they had a showroom and were local to my area. I went down to Classic Ceilings and met Mathew. Even though I only needed two panels to complete my bar top, I was treated the same as if I was purchasing for a huge room. Mathew was very helpful and we chose a ceiling pattern that would compliment the theme of the room. I was very impressed with the quality of the panels, and they were very easy to manipulate and customize for my specific needs. I am planning on expanding the Pub some day and look forward to working with Classic Ceilings again. Thank you Mathew, and all the others at Classic Ceilings!" ***** Paul W. Miller from Manasquan, NJ states: "Dear Matthew, I want to thank you for the excellent support during our recent ceiling project. Your were every patient while we requested different samples. This was very important in making sure we would be happy with the final selection of field panels and moulding. Since I did the project myself, the ability to ask questions and get suggested layout designs with your complete cooperation was instrumental in the success of our project. Quality of the material was excellent with pattern matching being very consistent. I would not hesitate to work with Classic Ceilings again and also recommend you to others. Our project went very smoothly and the outcome was outstanding. We continue to admire the ceiling and have received many complements on it. Thank you again for your help and running a quality, customer oriented business. FYI - I used 1/2" plywood as a base for nailing the panels instead of 3/8". I felt this would give a more solid nailing surface since our ceiling beams are 24" OC with 1/2" sheetrock." ***** Courtny Meier from San Antonio, TX states: "Here is my first effort with the Pressed Tin you sent. I'm so happy with the results. I just wanted you to see the Hutch before & after. As you suggested, I painted the tins with an oil/varnish based primer. I let it dry for about 20 minutes and then I applied a rustoleum brand latex primer that was "rust" colored. I let that dry for 30 minutes before I "sponged on" a cinnamon colored latex paint lightly mixed with some glaze. I let it dry about an hour and then I lightly sprayed it with a copper spray paint (from about 4 feet away.) Next I dusted it with a black gloss spray paint and then I finally painted it with a semi gloss varnish. It only took one day to paint the panels. I let them dry over night and then I cut them using a guillotine paper cutter that I modified by taking off the safety guard! The tin snips worked great for final fittings and curves. 2 days and 0 bucks of supplies and my hutch looks like a million. Now I'm ready to tackle the kitchen back splash. I only need more time in each day. Thanks for all the great advice and suggestions. I'll be in touch about the next order." |
